What is a memorial diamond?

A memorial diamond is a way to pay tribute and memorialize a loved one that has died. The jewelry company that makes the diamond by taking carbon from human ashes and uses it to seed a lab made diamond. The diamond can also be made from a sample of a person's hair, if available.

How much hair or ashes are needed to make a memorial diamond?

A half cup of ashes or hair is the ideal amount needed to grow a diamond. If you have less than that, don’t worry – small amount goes a long way. Contact us and we’ll let you know if you have enough. Any ashes/hair we don’t use we’ll also send home at the end of the process.

Can I use the ashes I have at home in an urn?

Ashes never expire. Some customers have used ashes they have had held on to for more than 20 years. The same is also true for hair. If you have a lock of your loved one's hair  at home, that also does not expire. It can be used it to create a memorial diamond for you as well.
